They say ‘necessity is the mother of invention’, and that holds true for the creation of PotLock.
My daughters (there are 6), my wife (just the 1) and (so far) our fourteen grandchildren get together often to celebrate holidays, birthdays and various other seasonal events. They also help each other out with meals from time to time when someone is sick, away or overworked. All of these occasions require the transport of dishes such as soups and pastas, often with hands already full. Inevitably, something always ends up somewhere other than the table- most often spilled on the seat or floor of a car.
This year, one of my daughters brought her soup pot hacked with a trick she had found online. It was a creative, but only marginally effective, solution to a persistent problem…
I pre-date personal computers, mobile phones and the internet so when I failed to find a better option online, I assumed the issue was user error and asked my tech-savvy kids to take a look. Nothing, nada, zero. They couldn’t find anything. Shocked, I set out to solve this age-old challenge.
The result: the PotLock.
A simple, cost-effective, mess-free and durable solution to transporting food from one place to the next. It’s been battle-tested by my family and I am confident that it will work for yours, as well.
Your potluck dinners will never be the same.
Enjoy!
